1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If TidyKB isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan and we will refund that payment in full. No reason is needed. This applies to monthly and yearly plans, and once per customer.
2. Renewals
- Monthly renewals are not refundable. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- Yearly renewals can be refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of the renewal date. We email you a reminder 7 days before each yearly renewal.
- If we charged you by mistake (for example, twice for the same period, or after you cancelled), we refund the incorrect charge in full, whenever you notice it.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in the billing section of your account, or via the link in your Paddle receipt. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling doesn't by itself trigger a refund; ask for one if you are within the windows above.
4. When we refund on our own initiative
We refund prepaid fees for the unused part of your period if:
- we stop providing the service, or remove a core feature of your plan (Terms, sections 11 and 12);
- a change to a connected third-party system makes a core feature permanently impossible (Terms, section 7); or
- you cancel because you don't accept a material change to our Terms (Terms, section 18).
We don't refund if we close an account because of a serious breach of our Terms (for example abuse or fraud).
5. Product-specific rules
- Free trial. A new workspace gets a 14-day free trial of the Team plan. No payment details are required to start it and none are collected while it runs, so a trial is never charged for, never turns into a paid subscription by itself, and there is nothing to cancel. When the 14 days are up the workspace moves to the Free plan on its own: scheduled and manual scans stop, and your scans, issues, settings and translation drafts are kept (the Privacy Notice says for how long). One trial per workspace. Because no payment is taken during a trial, a trial cannot give rise to a refund.
- Founding plan (pre-launch offer). The founding payment covers 12 months of the Team plan. It is fully refundable until 7 December 2026 (the date by which find-and-replace and translation will be available), however much you have used it. After that date it is non-refundable. If those features are not available by that date, you can ask for a full refund until they are.
- Translation words are included in the plan price and are not refundable separately.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email support@tidykb.net from your account email with your Paddle order number (it's on your receipt), or use the "Request refund" link in the Paddle receipt email. Our orders are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, so the refund is issued by Paddle to your original payment method. Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Sales tax or VAT is refunded with the payment.
7. Your legal rights
This policy doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer-protection law of your country that can't be excluded. TidyKB is sold to businesses, but if you are a consumer in the EU, UK or another country that gives a statutory right of withdrawal, you keep that right; the 14-day guarantee above is designed to cover it. Paddle's Refund Policy and Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
